Re-registration Process
2011 RE-REGISTRATION PROCESS FOR USSF REFEREES
  1. You will not receive a form from USSF in the mail.  
  2. Registration for 2012 will be electronic via US Soccer
    • Registration begins online on July 10, 2011

  3. Pay via credit card online & print out copy of receipt for presentation at In-Service session-needed to receive 2011 badge.  NOTE: Fee total is $45 for Grade 8 referees.  If you see $95 then you signed up for an entry level class.  Cancel and select another class!
  4. Sign up for one of the In-Service sessions shown when registering
    • This is to make it easier to track attendance
    • If you cannot make any of the sessions shown, still register & attend a later session
    • The online sign-up for IST is to make it easier to track attendance - you can still register
    • Keep checking this site for sessions and then log into www.ussoccer.info for the specific session
  5. If you prefer to pay by check, you may still do so
    • Contact your Area Representative for a blank form or download from www.ussoccer.com
    • Fill out and bring check for appropriate fee to an In-Service Session
    • Make checks out to NHSA
  6. Regardless of registration method, if age 18 or older, make sure you are up to date on Kids Safe
    • Effective for 2011 registration, referees are responsible for any fees associated with completeing Kids Safe requirements
    • Click on this link (GotSoccer) to register as referee for Risk Management
  7. If all of the above are met at the In-Service session, you will receive your 2011 badge

 IN-SERVICE TRAINING REQUIREMENTS

All USSF registered referees are required to attend in-service training each year.

  1. At least one of the in-service classes you attend MUST be a LOTG changes session with recertification exam.
  2. Advanced referee training sessions performed by National Instructors will count as (4) hours of your in-service training.  However, you still must attend a LOTG changes session.
  3. All Grade 7 and higher referees are required to take each year:  
    1. Physical fitness test
    2. Written test    
  4. Any Grade 7 referee who wishes to use either the High School or College Physical fitness test may do so.  However, you must score at least 4 points on those tests and the test coordinator must document this to the SDI in an e-mail.
  5. All Grade 5 & 6 referees must take the USSF physical fitness test
  6. All in-service training counts toward training required for referee upgrades.  This includes:
    1. Training sessions by the National Instructional program 
    2. Tournament training session(s) approved by the SDI
